As a soon-to-be math teacher, I'm very interested in mathematics in the real world (outside of the homework I do for homework's sake) and I love to find new and exciting applications for math. I stumbled upon a new application that I would have never guessed was a recent mathematical break-through, Origami. As much as I'd love to rant about what I've recently learned, it is much easier to just let you see...
So now let me know what you think, and if you know of any other inspirational, new, unique or interesting ways mathematics are being applied, please let me know!
